Artist Biography

Brooklyn-based artist and designer KAWS studied illustration at the School of Visual Arts in New York and has exhibited his work internationally. He has had solo shows at The Aldrich Museum of Contemporary Art, Ridgefield, CT; Honor Fraser Gallery, Los Angeles, CA; Galerie Emmanuel Perrotin, Miami, FL; BAPE Gallery, Tokyo, Japan; Elms Lesters Painting Room, London, UK; MU Art Foundation, Eindhoven, Netherlands, and Colette, Paris, France. He has exhibited throughout the globe in Paris, Lille, Copenhagen, Tokyo, Athens, Los Angeles, and New York.
